Buca's had a breakthrough!

Buca is finally understanding if she's gentle with Hailie she can give her loves. The other night Hailie was rolling on the floor (she's so close to crawling) and Buca was laying on the edge of the blanket. When Hailie was close Buca would give her nice little kisses. Occasionaly I had to tell her it was too much but Hailie was loving it.  It's progress!

Great Christmas!

We headed west for Hailie's 1st Christmas. Her Grandparents were very excited to see her and as predicted spoiled her rotten. Well, everyone did. Check out the picture below. Can you find the baby in all the loot?
It's a good thing she's too little to understand. She helped open a few gifts but was much more interested in the shinny paper and bows then all the toys.

She couldn't handle all the excitement and had to take a nap.

As if Christmas was exciting enough, we also spent a day at the Wild Animal Park. Hailie has no choice but to be an animal lover like her parents. What a fun day!

We made an animal family using our hand prints.

Then to top of our week, we went to the beach. According to Trevor, you can't go to Southern California without a trip to the beach. Usually we take Buca to dog beach but this year she got bumped. Trevor had to take his little princess to the beach. It was a bit chilly and the water was freezing but Hailie loved it. Seriously! We were expecting her to scream when we stuck her feet in but instead she laughed and stomped around in the sand. When you lifted her up she would wiggle trying to get back down. She's her Daddy's girl!

We had an absolutely wonderful trip!! Thanks Mom and Dad for a great week. Can't wait to come back for our next visit.

We'll send you out with a picture of Buca, our other princess. She was pretty spoiled by Santa too. Hopefully next time her cousin Bella will be well enough to play so she doesn't have to torment Suzie Q (the kitty).

We hope you all had a great Christmas and wish you a wonderful and exciting 2010. We know ours will be!
