It's May, right?

This is what we woke up to today. Will it ever be Spring?

9 Months

We can hardly believe it, but Hailie is 9 months old! The past 3 months have been a whirlwind with all the growing she is doing. In February, she began to crawl and instantly our lives changed! She now is so mobile that you can't turn your back on her for 5 seconds or she is off. She just learned how to stand from sitting with no assistance. She'll be walking before long. Her 2 bottom middle teeth have come in fully and she is eating all kinds of foods.

In the past 3 months she has had her 1st trip to St. George, 1st Jazz game, 1st stay at Nana's without Mommy & Daddy (Mommy survived just fine), 1st Easter, 1st Swim in a pool, and so many other fun 1st adventures to count!

She is such a joy in our lives. The past 9 months have flown by and every day is a new adventure. From crawling to swimming to talking and even singing, playing and growing with her is more fun then we ever imagined. We can't wait to see what the next 3 months have in store!

Race for the Cure - 2010

We participated in the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure again this year. As always we had a great time for a great cause!

Cruising

To celebrate our 8th anniversary we decided to go on a little cruise. Hailie got to spend a fun couple of days with Nana and Grandpa. We spent 1 day at sea just laying out and enjoying the sun (when it decided to peek through). The next day we spent in Catalina. A very interesting little place.

The last day we spent in Ensenada, Mexico. We took a tour of some local wineries which took us out of the downtown area. We saw some beautiful countryside and had some great wine.

San Diego

Since we were headed to CA for the surprise party we decided to make a vacation out of it. We spent a couple days in San Diego before heading out on a little 4 day cruise.
In case you weren't aware, we're big animal people. We spent 2 days at the SD zoo.

It was really nice the day we were leaving so we decided to take a dip. Hailie loves the water. She's our little mermaid.

Surprise!

It's been awhile and we've been really busy so it's gong to take a couple posts to get you all caught up. To start, we headed to San Diego April 23rd to surprise Kate's Mom for her birthday. It was a very special birthday this year so we decided to have a surprise party for her. She had no idea the whole family was in town to celebrate.

The party was awesome. Thanks to everyone for helping with the party and traveling from all over. I think she really enjoyed it and I know we did!
