As most of you know, Hailie is a very picky eater. I can count on one hand the foods she'll eat. Her first reaction is always to say no and then gag until it's taken away. So no surprise when I offered her a taste of cake batter and she immediately freaked out. Being the great parent that I am, I stuck some in her mouth as she was telling me "no." After a second of trying to get it out of her mouth, she realized it was pretty good. Then it was "more more please more." How can you pass up batter?

Soccer is back! Go RSL!
Yeah, It's soccer season again. We've already had 2 games at home and it's been cold but so worth it. We upgraded our seats this year so we're sitting one section closer to the center and 3rd row. Not bad seats.
After freezing at the 1st game, Hailie sent a message to her Nana for a new hat and scarf in RSL colors. Of course she came through for the next game. How adorable is Hailie in RSL colors?

Disney on Ice
Last week we took Hailie to see Disney on Ice. In case you aren't aware, Hailie is slightly obsessed with Minnie Mouse or as she says "Mimi Ouse." We got her a Minnie Mouse costume to wear to the show. She was very excited about it. It was folded over twice in the back and pinned all over but she didn't care. Guess who's going to be Minnie Mouse for Halloween this year?
We were a little worried she was too young but the opening number was totally worth it. As soon as the show started she was clapping and screaming and pointing to all the characters. She kept looking at us with an expression of "did you see that." Unfortunately, she lost her steam by the 2nd half but she held on to the end. She was running on only a 20 minute nap so we were pretty happy with how she did. It was a great day! Next up, Disneyland!

NASCAR
Last weekend, Trevor and I embraced our inner white trash. One of Trevor's beer vendors hooked us up with tickets to the NASCAR race in Las Vegas. Our tickets were supposed to have been somewhere in the grandstands but when we got to will call there were no tickets. This was a little disappointing since we had driven all this way but a few phone calls later and we were on our way to our new seats INSIDE the track. They definitely made up for losing our tickets. We got to watch the race from inside the track on the 1st turn. Plus free food and drinks and the best part nice clean restrooms with no lines! It was pretty amazing. Who knew you could have so much fun standing on top of an RV watching cars go in circles?

Family Pictures
A couple weeks we had some family pictures taken. Hailie wasn't in a very cooperative mood but luckily we got some good ones.
