We love the Zoo!

We took our 1st trip to Hogle zoo this year.  We bought a membership this year so hopefully we'll be visiting a lot.  We've taken Hailie a lot but this was the 1st time she was really into it.  Her favorite is the giraffe.
 

 Yes, our child is on a lease.  I always made fun of those parents but now I understand.  She's too fast, tiny and has no fear.

 By the way, this was Memorial Day and we're dressed for late winter.  Spring never came this year.

While we were waiting for the carousel, we asked Hailie which animal she wanted.  Of course, she picked out the giraffe.  Another little girl got on it while we were in line and Hailie went into meltdown mode.  She pointed to it and cried "my giraffe, my giraffe."  No worries.  She got it the next time and the time after that.

1st Trip to the Dentist

Hailie had her 1st trip to the dentist.  It went a lot better than we thought except we need to brush her teeth better. They had TVs in the ceiling so she could watch TV during the exam and she did so good they gave her a toy after.

 Yes, they actually cleaned her little teeth.    She was so good for the dentist.  If only she was that good for us.
